REGARDING
COMPLAINTS TO THE ASSESSMENT
PLEASE
READ CAREFULLY
To file a Complaint
to the Assessment it CAN NOT be just a letter to the
Board of Revisions.
The complaint form and documentation
must be filed with the board to be official.
A complaint form and instruction sheet can be obtained by contacting the Auditors office.
FAXED information
will not be accepted. All Complaints to the Assessment must be
filed in the Auditors Office.
All Complaints To
The Assessment forms must be received in the Auditor's
Office by 4:30 PM March 31. Forms mailed to the office and
received after this time will not be accepted regardless of the
date stamp.
Any and all
complaints to the assessment filed by an "LLC" MUST BE signed
(on the COMPLAINT form) by an attorney, who MUST BE PRESENT at
the board of revision hearing to represent the "LLC".
Also, if an appraisal
is presented to the board of revision, the appraiser MUST BE
PRESENT at the board of revision hearing to testify as to the
validity of the appraisal.
