Software Solutions Incorporated (SSI) Announces that Greene County, Ohio has purchased its eGovRelational/Oracle Accounting Software

  • Greene County chooses SSI’s eGovRelational software running on an Oracle relational data base for better data access and reporting in its Auditor’s office.

  • SSI produces accounting and billing software for local governments.

  • eGovRelational or eGovProfessional is installed in more than 200 Ohio accounts including over twenty five counties.

LEBANON, OHIO, October 25, 2004 - Software Solutions Incorporated (SSI) announced today that Greene County, Ohio has purchased its eGovRelational accounting system for the auditor’s office. Using this software, Greene County’s staff can attach files and launch PC programs, such as Word and Excel, from within eGovRelational; can analyze and retrieve information easily; and can directly access data through ODBC compatible programs, such as Crystal Reports. At Greene County, SSI’s eGovRelational software will utilize an Oracle relational data base so that it is compatible with other data bases used throughout Greene County.

Greene County serves 147,000 citizens. They will use the new system for accounts payable, purchasing, and budgetary accounting.

Greene County Auditor, said: “We have been using SSI’s software in my office since 1986. SSI has always been very responsive to our needs and has been willing to adapt their programs to our environment and our unique needs. Now, my staff will work with theirs to allow their eGovRelational programs to operate in our Oracle environment. This will allow our staff better access to financial data and will provide better reporting on this financial information. This also standardizes our staff training and our technical needs since all of our applications use Oracle’s RDBMS.
