The Department of Building Regulation provides residential and commercial permit/inspection services for all use groups in Greene County including all cities and villages except Fairborn City, Bowersville village, Clifton village, and for Federal and State owned properties or buildings.  Permit/Inspections include Building, HVAC, Electrical, Alarm, Suppression, Hood/Ansul Systems, Residential and Commercial Natural gas line, Residential and Commercial Propane, and Signs.  This Office enforces the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Flood Plain Regulation and the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Airport Zoning Regulation.  This office provides State of Ohio approved building appeals board.
