Miami Valley Cycling Summit and Century Ride!

Join us for the Miami Valley Cycling Summit and its Century Ride!

 Using the power of cycling to drive economic development in communities throughout the region will be the focus of the 2017 Miami Valley Cycling Summit, (MVCS) which is being hosted from 8:30 to 4 p.m., Friday, May 5, at Wright State University. The event is FREE and OPEN to the public. Local, regional and national experts will detail how cycling can benefit all communities through a day of speakers, vendors and networking with the theme of “Cycling Attracts.”

On-line registration is available at www.CyclingSummit.com with the first 300 people registered receiving a free bike bell provided by Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission; the first 400 will receive a 'swag bag.' Those registering by April 21 will be guaranteed a free lunch. Participants may also register on-site the day of the event.

 Commemorative medal for 2017 Miami Valley Cycling Summit Century Ride unveiled
 Successful participants in the upcoming Miami Valley Cycling Summit Century Ride on Saturday, May 6, will receive an one-of-a-kind medal (image attached above) to commemorate completing either the 62-Mile Metric Century Ride or the 100-Mile Century Ride.

 The ride will open at 7 a.m. with registration at Greene County Parks & Trails' Fairgrounds Recreation Center, 210 Fairground Rd., Xenia, and will travel south on the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Support-and-Gear (SAG) will be provided as well as multiple rest stations with water and snacks for riders.

 Cost for the ride is $25 with all proceeds benefitting Bike Miami Valley and their programs. Participants may pre-register at www.gcparkstrails.com or register on-site beginning at 6:30 a.m. the morning of the ride.
