Admissions:
An admission
committee reviews information about perspective
residents to determine if placement is appropriate.
Consideration is given to medical, social, and
psychological needs. Visits and tours are encouraged to
help with the decision-making process. Residents new to
Greenewood Manor must be tobacco-free, and meet all
level of care requirements.
Psychosocial
needs:
For residents
who need additional mental health services, referrals
can be made to outside agencies. A representative from
The Community Network (TCN) can evaluate for
effectiveness of psychoactive medications. Also a
representative from Layh and Assoc. comes to the
facility for on-going psychological counseling.
Respite Care,
short and long term:
We can arrange
for short and long term respite stay, either under a
private pay status or Medicaid. A history and physical
will need to be completed within five days of admission,
as well as approval of admissions committee and the Area
