Rules
of court, court forms, descriptions of areas of court
jurisdiction, case files (except mental illness cases and
adoptions), and links to all other Ohio courts, government
offices, and other legal websites are available herein.
We are dedicated to serving you, the
general public, with fidelity. We will try to make your business
before the court as pleasant as possible.
One caveat, legal practice in all Courts is
restricted by law to attorneys who are licensed by The Supreme
Court of Ohio. If an individual chooses to file legal documents
without counsel, this will be permitted. Due to the complexity of
the law and desire to avoid costly errors, most individuals who
have a matter pending before the Court are represented by an
attorney. DEPUTY CLERKS ARE PREVENTED FROM PRACTICING LAW AND
THEREFORE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO GIVE ADVICE. They are only
authorized to determine if forms and other legal documents are
appropriate and acceptable for filing.
