Current Real Estate Taxes

By Mail:
Please send the tax bill stub along with your check made payable to "Greene County Treasurer". Your envelope MUST be postmarked with the United States Post Office postmark (not a private meter) by the last day of the collection (the due date); otherwise, state law requires us to add a 10% penalty. The due date for the collection and the mailing address are on your bill.

In Person:
The Treasurer's Office is located on the first floor of 15 Greene Street, Xenia, Ohio  45385. Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Hours are Extended the last three (3) days of collection from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  If you pay in person, you MUST do so by the last day of collection to avoid the automatic 10% penalty.  If paid within 10 days, 5% will be remitted.  

At the Bank:
All Greene County Fifth Third Bank locations will accept tax payments and forward it to the Treasurer's Office during collection for a nominal fee.

By Credit, Debit or eCheck - on-line:  
Greene County property owners can pay their tax bills online using the Point & Pay online payment service. There will be a convenience fee for this service that you will see before you submit your payment. 

The convenience fee is paid to Point & Pay, not the Greene County Treasurer, and is as follows: 

       Debit or Credit Card - 2.95% of the amount paid or $2.00 minimum,
                                              whichever is greater

       eCheck - fee of $ 2.95

Greene County property owners can pay their tax bills BY PHONE using a credit or debit card by calling Point & Pay at 1-866-739-0474 and following the prompts. There will be a convenience fee for this service that you will be informed of before you submit your payment. 

The convenience fee is paid to Point & Pay, not the Greene County Treasurer, and is as follows:

                                              whichever is greater

Treasurer's Monthly Escrow Program

You can arrange to pay your property taxes in convenient monthly installments by signing up for the Treasurer's Monthly Escrow Program.  Click here to view, download and print out a form.  Complete the form and mail it to the Treasurer's office.
