WELCOME to Greene County Animal Control. The mission of this website is to assist citizens looking for a lost animal or interested in adopting.  Due to the overwhelming overpopulation of dogs and cats, we have a never ending supply of candidates for adoption.  There is always a special need for homes for aged and special needs pets. These can be especially demanding and rewarding, if you are dedicated and able to accept such a challenge.  Sometimes these require extra time, experience, or financial support.                 

Xenia Shelter: Open Monday thru Friday 9 am to 6:30 pm. We are open on Saturday and Sunday from 12 (noon) to 4 pm.  We answer emergency calls after hours only.  If we need to be contacted during off hours, we can be reached by calling the Sheriff's office or your local Police Dept.

Fairborn Shelter: CLOSED as of December 30, 2010. Please call the Xenia Office if you have any questions. (937) 562-7400 Note that we now only handle dogs in the Fairborn City area.  All other concerns please call your local authority.
