Dear Web Site Visitor:

As Greene County Auditor and on behalf of my staff, I, Luwanna A. Delaney, would personally like to welcome you to the Greene County Auditor’s Office Web Site!

As an elected official, I believe my most important duty is to serve you, the people of Greene County. Thus, probably the most important feature of this web site is the wide range of services that can be obtained here. Currently, items ranging from information regarding dog tag applications to CAUV and Homestead Exemption applications are available at this site. The list of potential services that may be provided in the future is infinite. In the future, you may be able to review your property record cards or file for a vendor’s license while sitting in your office. Almost every service provided by the Auditor may one day be accessible at this web site.

Another advantage of the web site is that, unlike the County offices, web sites have no office hours. Information on the home page will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This will enable those people who cannot get to our office during the traditional office hours to access information they need. At a time when taxpayers are demanding more services from their government and are willing to pay fewer tax dollars for these services, around the clock access via a web site provides a cost effective alternative to extended evening and weekend office hours.

In our efforts to better serve the taxpayers of Greene County, my staff and I are always looking for new and improved ways to keep the public informed about what is happening in Greene County. From the issuance of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report to the various public meetings I attend every month, it is my goal to keep the public aware of new developments and the financial condition of Greene County. I sincerely believe this web site will provide yet another valuable avenue for information to flow between my office and the people of Greene County.

Sincerely,

Luwanna A. Delaney
Greene County Auditor
