COLUMBUS - Auditor of State Jim Petro presented the Auditor's Award for excellence in financial reporting to Greene County Auditor during a one-day continuing education seminar sponsored by the Office of Auditor of State for county auditors and deputy auditors.

This award recognizes the county for meeting the strict standards set by the Government Finance Offers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) as evidenced by the county's submission of its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report to the GFOA.
