Inspections are scheduled Monday –
Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All inspections called in before 3:00 p.m.
will be scheduled for the following business day. *Exception: Electrical
inspections in Eastern Greene County are done on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY.
WHAT IS NEEDED TO SCHEDULE AN
INSPECTION:
You MUST have your PERMIT NUMBER and/or
PIN NUMBER in order to schedule an inspection. Please know the type of
inspection that you are requesting.
INSPECTION TIMES:
At the time you schedule an inspection, you can give a “call-back number” in
order to receive an automated call from our department with a three-hour time
frame of when your inspection will take place.
Concrete footings & slabs:
Request your time with a minimum of a
one-hour spread. The latest ready time shall be no later than 3:00 p.m. Place
time shall be accepted between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Suppression systems and Hood
Suppression systems:
This inspection is scheduled between the
hours of 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a one-hour inspection time limit per day.
Times will not be accepted between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. This inspection is
scheduled first come first served. Contact our office well in advance of your
desired inspection date to be placed on our schedule. Notify the Fire
Prevention Bureau in your area 24-hours in advance of your inspection date.
Suppression Supervision:
This inspection is scheduled between the
hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a one-hour inspection time limit per day.
Times will not be accepted between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. There is a
requirement for a battery test which requires a 24-hour test. Two consecutive
days are required for the battery inspection. This inspection is scheduled
first come first served. Contact our office well in advance of your desired
inspection date to be placed on our schedule. Notify the Fire Prevention Bureau
in your area 24-hours in advance of your inspection date.
Fire Alarm:
This inspection is scheduled between the
hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a one-hour inspection time limit per day.
