    Join the Citizen Science program--- part of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology winter bird survey to learn more about winter birds at the feeders.

  2. Spring Celebration: Egg-cellent Adventure!

    March 28, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Russ Nature Reserve

    It's the time of year when we celebrate eggs---bird eggs, Easter eggs, amphibian eggs... Enjoy a wagon ride through the prairie with stops along the way to collect Easter eggs. At each stop, you will explore a bird's nest, discover salamanders and frogs, learn what other animals start as eggs and so much more. After each child has collected their Easter eggs, families will color the eggs and create other seasonal crafts. Each child should bring a basket to collect Easter eggs.

  3. Preschool Nature Play

    March 30, 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Narrows Reserve Nature Center

    Hikes, songs, exploring and crafts during a 6 week session. Activities are based on a curriculum structure focusing on experimental learning through exposure to nature and changing seasons. Children will develop social, communication and motor skills. Designed for ages 4 to 6: children must be potty trained and dressed to go outside.Visit our website for more information.

  4. Young Naturalist Club

    March 30, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Narrows Reserve Nature Center

    This program is designed especially for teens. Join other local teens between the ages of 13 and 18 trying some things you've always wanted to experience. Work on some conservation projects and even enjoy some field trips. Dress for going outside.

  5. Bryan Center Hike

    March 31, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Bryan Center

    Discover nature during the changing seasons. Wear sturdy walking shoes; bring a water bottle.

  6. Greenhouse Helpers

    March 31, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ James Ranch Park

    Come help us prepare plants for the James Ranch Park gardens, as well as plant, water and prepare for transplant. Join a naturalist and get your hands dirty!
