    Local Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and American Heritage Girls are invited to join us for an Arbor Day event on Saturday, April 25, 2015 10:30am to 11:30am Greenewood Manor dining room Join residents to learn about Arbor Day with Tree-mendus Trivia, Tree Art, and a Leaf Collection game. Scouts who participate in this event will be eligible to purchase an Arbor Day patch for $1. You must sign in and pay for the patch on the day of the event. All scouts are encouraged to wear your scout uniform/ vest/ sash/ etc. Our residents enjoy seeing the patches you have earned! CHILDREN MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT either by responding on our Facebook event page or by contacting Amy Shade @ 562-7569 *Registrations are due no later than Thursday, April 23, at 4pm.* Greenewood Manor reserves the right to cancel this program in the event of a low number of registrations.

    Join the Greene County Parks & Trails Sentinels for a ride by moonlight along the regions bike trails in Greene County. All riders must be 18 or older, wear a helmet and have lights on their bikes. Rides will be cancelled in the event of a thunderstorm. All rides are held on a Saturday at 7 p.m.

  7. Earth Day Geocache Event

    All of the hidden caches will offer a "green" theme. We encourage cache in, trash out at each of the cache sites. Fifty caches will be located within our parks; each registered participant will receive a geocoin. Caches will be left out for one week. The team who finds the most caches within that week will win one free rain barrel valued at $50.
