The Greene County CIC is a not-for-profit organization established under section 1702.04 of the Ohio Revised Code, and as provided in sections 1724.01 to 1724.09; for the sole purpose of advancing, encouraging and promoting the industrial, economic, commercial and civic development of Greene County.
A community improvement corporation may be designated by a county, one or more townships, one or more municipal corporations, two or more adjoining counties, or any combination of the foregoing to act as its agent or representative. The Greene County CIC is the designated agency for the industrial, commercial, research and distribution development in Greene County. It is the objective of Greene County to promote the health, safety, morals and general welfare of its inhabitants through the designation of the Community Improvement Corporation.
