At times, a person in the process of a divorce
desires an opportunity to reconcile with his or her spouse.
Conciliation hearings provide parties with an
opportunity to implement a ninety day “cooling off” period, in which all
divorce proceedings are put on hold. This time allows parties to take
steps to discern their decision to work on reconciling their relationship.
Talk with your attorney about how to initiate a conciliation hearing.
