Jamestown Area Family Resource Center is an innovative non-profit
government agency that fosters partnerships, increases access to human
service agencies, and builds the capacity of agencies to serve the community. It
is part of Greene County’s Family and Children First Department. The center
provides information, support, and coordination of resources to empower
individuals, families, children, and the community.
Located in downtown Jamestown, the center’s primary goal is to provide
information, programs, and referrals to enable families to better solve their
problems and meet the needs that they are encountering.
LIBRARY
Our library features parenting resources, children’s books and resources, and
are available to Jamestown residents. Books are available for a three-week
check-out, video tapes, audio tapes, and learning software for a two week
check-out. Usage of the library requires an appointment.
PROGRAM BOARD & BROCHURES
You can check out the center’s brochure racks for support groups,
programs, organizations, and other items of interest to families that are
available to residents of Greene County.
