To provide a safe, secure, and home-like environment to assist  families who have been affected by abuse, neglect, divorce, and/or separation to rebuild family relationships through supervised visitation and neutral exchange services.

The need for supervised visits might include . . .

    a child abuse/neglect investigation
    child custody issues
    protection/ restraining order
other safety, mental health, or legal issues
. . . where a neutral ground and/or trained personnel is needed to ensure the comfort and safety of the parties involved.

The Visitation Center provides a homelike atmosphere which is conducive to family interaction.  Visits are supervised by professional or trained staff  who conduct themselves in the least intrusive manner possible while still assuring that proper monitoring occurs.

We want families to conduct themselves in a relaxed manner and to think  of the Center as a "home away from home."

Activities such as games, crafts, and toys are available to visiting families.  Special arrangements can be made to celebrate birthdays and special occasions.

Referrals to the Visitation Center are only accepted from Greene County Juvenile or Domestic Court.

The Visitation Center reports back to the referring court, documenting whether the visit/exchange occurred and whether there were any problems.
