Greene CATS Public Transit Service
Greene CATS Public Transit provides a safe, reliable, and accessible public transportation service for the residents of Greene County with special attention to those who are transportation disadvantaged in coordination with the county’s social service agencies.

Services
  • Open to all Greene County residents
  • Travels to and from any destination in Greene County, limited service to Montgomery County
  • ADA accessible
  • Demand Responsive Service
    • Requires reservation and picks up and drops off riders at the curb
    • Door-to-door service available upon request
    • Hours are 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, seven days-a-week
  • Flex Route Service
    • Defined routes that do not require reservations and can deviate up to 0.75 miles to pick up or drop off riders
    • Hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
  • Scheduling Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Dispatch hours are Monday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 9:00 pm
  • No service on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day with limited service on other major holidays
  • Buses are operated by First Transit, under contract to Greene CATS
  • Transit service is provided by the Greene County Transit Board. This seven member Board is appointed by the Greene County Commissioners and is the designated recipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) urban transit funding for Greene County.
