Concerned about litter in your community?

Want to help your county stay Greene?  Then Adopt-A-Spot......

You have probably seen the Adopt-A-Spot signs throughout the county.  The signs indicate that a group of volunteers donate their time to help pick up litter and to help keep the area clean.

We appreciate each group's commitment to the environment and encourage everyone concerned about litter to participate.

How to Adopt-A-Spot -- To join a growing list of organizations already participating, call or e-mail the Greene County Environmental Services Division at (937) 562-5925 for information on available roadways. A contract and release forms will be sent to you.

Your Commitment -- You will be asked to clean the spot at least quarterly. 

Acknowledgement -- Your adopted area will be identified with a sign designating your organization's name.  

Program Provisions -- The Program provides safety vests (for adopted roadways), refuse bags and removal of bagged litter.
