YARD WASTE SITES

FOR RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY

One of the most widely used services provided by Greene County Environmental Services Division is the Yard Waste Sites.  Residents can bring in their leaves, grass and brush for disposal at  no cost.  The grass and leaves are donated and used to make topsoil.  The brush is ground into untreated mulch and available free to Greene County businesses and residents on a self serve,  first come, first serve basis.  The untreated mulch is available at the Central Site and Fairborn Satellite Site only.

Very Important - 

• Brush should be no longer than four feet and no greater than four inches in diameter.

•  Please arrive fifteen minutes before closing so you can be unloaded by closing.

•   Residents must unload their own vehicles.

The Central Site, located at 2145 Greene Way Blvd., in Xenia (click here for map) is open the following hours:

There are three Yard Waste Satellite Sites:

Beavercreek - 2260 Dayton-Xenia Road (click here for map)

The Beavercreek site is closed for the winter and will re-open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm from April 2, 2012 through November 28, 2012. 

Sugarcreek - 2021 Ferry Road (click here for map).

The Sugarcreek site is closed for the winter.  Opening dates will be announced early next year.

Fairborn - 1018 Yellow Springs-Fairfield Road (click here for map)

The Fairborn site is closed for the winter and will re-open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. from April 3, 2012 through November 29, 2012. Closed election days.

All facilities are closed on Holidays.
