As Greene County Auditor and as an elected official of Greene County, I, Luwanna A. Delaney, would personally like to welcome you to the Greene County Web Site!

I believe a public official’s most important function is to serve their constituents - the people of Greene County. Thus, probably the most important feature of this web site is the services that can be obtained. Currently, the items that can be accessed range from viewing the Greene County Community Calendar of Events to printing off a dog tag application. The list of potential services that may be provided in the future is literally unlimited.

Another advantage of the web site is that, unlike the County offices, web sites have no office hours. Information on the home page will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This shall enable those people who cannot come to our offices during the work hours to access information they need. The web will enable us to deliver greater services with the expenditure of fewer tax dollars, thus providing a cost-effective alternative to providing even greater service.

In our efforts to better serve you, the taxpayers of Greene County, the County is always looking for new and improved ways to keep the public informed about what is happening in Greene County. From public hearings to the issuance of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and the Popular Annual Financial Report, it is the County’s goal to keep the public abreast of the activities and financial condition of the County.
