About the Sale

As in the past years, we can neither alter the contents of packets, nor deliver them to your home, if conditions exist beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute species in the packets. The plants are nursery inspected to be disease free. Greene SWCD cannot be responsible for their survival after they are picked up by the customer, it is advisable to pick them as early as possible when they arrive at our office. Our seedling program is an effort in soil conservation and reforestation. We are not a nursery but are excited to leverage our cost saving ability as a nonprofit government agency and pass it along to homeowners in the area. We love the fact that we get to continue this annual tradition centered around Arbor Day and that some of our seedlings have been planted at historic sites in Greene County like Huffman Prairie.
