April 20, 2020: Greene CATS Public Transit requests riders to wear facial coverings

April 20, 2020: Greene CATS Public Transit is asking riders to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus by wearing facial coverings. “We appreciate riders who have already begun to wear facial coverings to protect our drivers and other riders in this way,” stated Executive Director, Ken Collier. “We also continue to disinfectant all surfaces normally touched by riders throughout the day,” Collier added. Riders are also asked to continue social distancing by not sitting in the seats directly behind the driver. Flex Routes continue to operate as normally scheduled and Scheduled Rides for essential trips are still being accepted on a space available basis. The Scheduling Office remains open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday – Friday, where passes and tokens may be purchased at the window. Riders should call the main phone number at (937) 708-8322 and choose option 1 to schedule rides. For the latest updates about Greene CATS Public Transit service visit our website at
